Birthday party

this week was my little girls birthday, my little Marianna turned 3 years old August 1

We planned a party for Saturday, she loves Mickey Mouse club house and Minnie so we went with Minnie and Daisy bow boutique; and she loved it.(so did I)

My daughter's birthday

This week was my daughter's 3 birthday. I'm a little sad that my little baby is growing up so fast, no more baby in the house just toddlers. Her birthday was Friday August 1, we planned to go to the pool with the play group in the morning then do some shopping for school supplies that I was missing for my son and then go out to dinner just the four of us since we had a party plan for her on Saturday.
So the day started good, she was super happy that it was her birthday.

The night before she was bitten by a mosquito on her chick so she woke up with her face a little swollen. So we went to the pool and had a great time then a friend from the group decided to make a little cake for her so we could sing happy birthday the actual day of the birth.

So the kids played some more and had a great time.

We go home and get ready to go to dinner to the Cheesecake Factory; then I send my mom a picture of my daughter and sick freaks out, she calls me and tells me to take her to the ER that her face was too swollen, the swelling was growing, I could tell but I didn't think it was that bad. I didn't go, I told her that if she got worse I would take her. 

 I checked on her all night and she didn't get worse but she didn't get better and that I didn't like. It's not normal to have a swollen face from a mosquito bite for more than a day.

This what more poor little girl looked like on the day of her big birthday party. 

So Saturday morning I decided to take her to the urgent care since her doctor was opened and I didn't wanted to spend 4 hours in the ER on the day of her party. The whole thing was pretty fast and we made on time to her party that was at 11:30am. 

She ended up having cellulitis, they gave her antibiotics. She expended the rest of the day with a swollen face but she was able to enjoy her party and that made me happy.

This weekend the weather was really nice here so we decided to go to walk around the beach, so what better time to get her new outfit on. So this is what she wore.(I love how you can see the motion in this picture even though you can't see her face too well)

Today was a little relax day (not by choice)

They still sick, both of them taking antibiotics and raining all weekend not a good combination to go out.

But I did sneak out for a little while to my moms house to see an old friend.

Well, let me tell you today wasn't the best day for me.

Today was my dad's first passing anniversary so I knew it was going to be a hard day and it was.

My boy Christian didn't have a very good night last night but I wasn't  sure why, he was having a little cold but it's getting worse.

I had to do groceries today no matter what cause my mom was coming and she's a big help to do the grocery, the weather here in south Florida is crazy so today was a rainy day, again.
I'm finally parking the car in front of my house when my moms says "I think he's going to through up" and then he did. Well, what can I say very hectic and messy moment.
Then we went about our day and like my mom was here I took a nap with my son, then I woke up to a little surprise; he pee on the bed on my bed. That was another fun moment.
It was good to see my husband come home a little earlier from work, that meant I didn't have to put the two kids to bed by myself.

Today was kinda a slow day, my husband stay home from work this morning so we got to go to IHOP for breakfast which is kinda a treat for us cause we only go to IHOP when we go to Orlando on vacation, lol

The big move was this weekend...

No, we didn't moved. It was for Marianna, my little girl. She has been sleeping  in our room since she was born and she's 14 months already, this move was way over due. Well you ask your self why I haven't move her to her own room (we do have space and her room is decorated and everything)
The thing is that she has Reflux & Colic so she STILL wakes up at night to eat, some times more than twice and not only to eat but just cause she can't sleep from her belly issues so I didn't want to be walking all night to the other room so I just kept her in our room. But she's getting older and to tell you the true, I just wanted my room back (our room back ;))
So we moved her last night and let me tell everything went well, she just woke up as usual and look around the room looking for me but that was it, just like she was in our room. I'm very glad I'm done with that part.

Sick kids

This past weekend was very entertaining ,Marianna my 14 month old daughter start having a fever Friday morning at the moment I didn't thin much of it, she's getting 2 teeth on the bottom so I thought she was just teething, oh was I wrong the fever its only getting worse, Sunday was the worst day she got up to 104 and they son starts complaining that his ear hurts and starts getting a fever too. So to make a long story short first thing in the morning we make a trip to he doctors office, it was no good for my daughter as she still has a fever today but at least it helped my son as he's ok now, gotta go back to the doctor tomorrow for my daughter to get test done on her and get antibiotics. So you can imagine I'm super tired not much sleep going on in this house, my house is a crazy mess as I have not much energy but to take care of the waining kids and keep track of the medicines, last night was better as her fever wasn't that high so she was able to sleep better but the reflux and colic weren't helping.

My daughters Birthday

Marianna is my first daughter but my second child. The first time around we went with a big party, too much money, too much stress. So for Marianna we chose a small party and a trip to Orlando. The theme was ladybugs and daisies (the theme was chose for emotional reasons).

The party was done in a place called Cool-de-sac a place for kids to play, so the decoration was very limited, so I decided to make the center pieces myself, something small and child friendly.

I also chose to carry theme over to my daughter too ;)

The cake is always a very big part of the party for me, so obviously it had to be a ladybug & daisies cake, cake by Maidy's cakes.
